Our client is currently hiring a Materials Handler to join their team based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. This is a full time permanent position (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of new products being delivered & stored.
  • Ensuring key materials have on time supply to Paint Plant & Paint Filling
  • Receipt of deliveries & tankers
  • Perpetual inventory checks, investigations & corrections
  • Management of yard & Raw Material Warehouse
  • Quarterly water testing
  • Daily FLT checks & resolution with External FLT Contractor
  • Disposition of obsolete, defect, returned materials including external waste contractors
  • Management of waste, compactors, skips, and external contracts for disposition Management of outside storage facilities, and related equipment
  • Management of consumable materials, boxes, diesel, kerosene et cetera
  • Ensuring any H&S risks & concerns are raised, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Lean Transformation Key Role
  • 5S (Housekeeping)
  • Waste identification & resolution
  • Green Belt Project team member

SKILLS PROFILE

  • Fork truck licence essential
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to learn to use all equipment
  • Full understanding of stock control and warehouse functions
